Local families post the nanny they need: full-time and part-time nannies, live-in and live-out roles, nanny shares, after-school and weekend nannies, holiday and emergency cover, nanny-housekeepers, and nannies for twins and children with additional needs. How it works

1

Create your free profile

Add your experience, the ages you care for, your qualifications and checks, your availability and the area you cover.

2

Get requests from local families

When parents near you need a nanny, you see the children's ages, the days and hours, live-in or live-out, and when they need you to start.

3

Reply to the family

Send a short message about your experience and the gross hourly rate or salary you're looking for.

4

Meet the family

Parents contact you directly. Meet them and the children, agree the role and a written contract, and start.

Questions from nannys

Everything you need to know before you join.

Yes. Quoteland is a new platform, and right now joining, receiving requests and contacting families costs nothing. We don't ask for card details, so nothing can be charged without you knowing.

We're launching and need to build up both families and nannies in each area. While we do that, there is no fee. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll tell you clearly in advance and you can decide whether to use them. Nothing will be switched on automatically.

Experienced nannies aged 18 and over. Families will expect references, an enhanced DBS check and paediatric first aid, so show these on your profile.

Full-time and part-time nannies, live-in and live-out roles, nanny shares, after-school and weekend nannies, holiday and emergency cover, nanny-housekeepers, and nannies for twins and children with additional needs.

In most cases, a nanny working for one family in their home is the family's employee, so they run payroll and pay tax and National Insurance for you. Agree your gross pay and a written contract before you start.

Nannies don't have to register, but many families prefer an Ofsted registered nanny because it can let them use Tax-Free Childcare or other government childcare support. Show your registration on your profile if you have it.

Agencies usually charge families a placement fee. On Quoteland families contact you directly and there's no agency fee while we launch.

Your profile shows the checks and qualifications you tell us about. Parents should always ask to see your DBS certificate, first aid certificate and references before you start.
